cashwerk Drive is not a generic cloud folder. It is an intelligent document hub that stores business documents automatically, links them to projects and customers, and shares them securely with partners.
Many companies use Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive for files—and face the same issue: documents sit outside the business process. An invoice exists in a folder, but the link to the customer, project, or deal is missing. cashwerk Drive fixes this by embedding documents in context. Invoices, quotations, and time reports are generated and stored in Drive—with references to the right customer and project.
Folder hierarchies, colors, and tags let you organize files your way. Chunked upload handles large files reliably, and optional expiry dates support retention rules. The built-in file viewer opens common formats in the browser, and the video player streams media without a download.
For teamwork, cashwerk offers granular sharing: internal shares give team members controlled access with fine-grained permissions. Public share links let partners and customers access specific files or folders without a cashwerk account. The share center lists all active shares in one place.
The real value is integration: project documents appear in the project tab, CRM portfolios stay linked, and exported time reports land in the right folder. Everything is hosted on German servers and processed in line with GDPR—essential when you store sensitive business files in the cloud.
